2010 Hunter Education Academy Sign Up
August 27th - 29th, 2010 Ross Camp, West Lafayette, Indiana
Indiana Hunter Education is now
mandatory for hunters born after December 31,
1986. Older hunters are finding they, too, need
H.E. certification to hunt in other states. It
is important that all H.E. courses throughout
the state are complete and consistent. By
attending the Academy, you can be assured that
your classes meet or exceed Indiana’s minimum
requirements and expectations. Programs include
dealing with anti’s, hunting ethics, teaching
techniques, as well as pointers for the basic
disciplines of rifle, shotgun, and archery.
Networking with other instructors and DNR staff
will get you recharged and excited about Hunter
Education again. The Advanced Academy topics will be announced very shortly. We are bringing in some very experienced
instructors for these sessions. We are sure that
you will have a lot of fun, too! Hospitality
will be provided each evening, and a fun
filled auction on Saturday night will be
provided by the Indiana Hunter Education
Association.
The
Academy is provided by

I.D.N.R., Law Enforcement Division and the
Indiana Hunter Education Association
If
you haven’t attended the Basic Hunter Education
Academy before or if you would like to attend
the Advanced Hunter
This Academy is for existing H.E. Instructors. If you are interested in becoming an H.E. Instructor, please contact
your local Indiana Conservation Officer for more information.
